Program Supervisor IV performs administrative and supervisory program work supporting our verbal de-escalation efforts and our therapeutic interventions to staff that work in a hospital setting. This position establishes and reinforces in-depth verbal de-escalation tactics and therapeutic interventions training tailored for front-line and patient care staff, develops and approves schedules, monitors and evaluates cross training of personnel, supervises and trains staff, and actively tracks and monitors all staff training sessions to ensure that the principles and techniques covered are continuously practiced and reinforced in daily interactions between staff and individuals. Works under limited supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Performs other duties as assigned. Other duties as assigned include but are not limited to actively participating and/or serving in a supporting role to meet the agency's obligations for disaster response and/or recovery or Continuity of Operations (COOP) activation. Such participation may require an alternate shift pattern assignment and/or location.
