The position involves highly responsible work related to the State’s implementation of the federal Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education Act of 2006 as amended by the Strengthening Career and Technical Education for the 21st Century Act (referred to as Perkin’s V) and subsequent iterations of the Act. Additionally, the position focus includes other state and federal initiatives related to Career and Technical Education as assigned. The Florida Department of Education (FDOE) has an open position that is responsible for executing the following functions: The capacity to perform well under pressure and maintain a clear, goal-oriented approach is essential in this role.
