About The Position

SAIC is seeking an experienced Program Security Manager to support the customer’s Office of Security on a diverse and high impact national security program. This individual will be required to operate in a diverse security environment, manage customer security requirements, and lead a team of security professionals.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI with polygraph
  • 10 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree or experience can be substituted for the degree
  • 5 years of experience in the physical security field
  • 5 years of program security experience
  • Experience conducting Physical SCIF inspection IAW ICD 705
  • Documented experience writing and reviewing security reports and creating supporting metrics
  • Documented experience conducting and reviewing risk assessments
  • Experience managing teams of up to 15 personnel
  • Experience providing security briefings/training to non-security personnel on aspects or components of a Program Security portfolio
  • Effective interpersonal skills (across multiple groups, offices, and organizations).
  • Effective communication, coordination, and customer engagement skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, and team environment with limited direct supervision.
  • Experience using Microsoft Suite

Responsibilities

  • Advise the customer on security matters based on a Customer’s Program Protection Plan directing implementation of controls to protect classified information.
  • Manage a team of security professionals advising and assisting the customer on implementation of the security plan overseeing a variety of industrial program's execution
  • Interface with Contractor and Government security officers to advise on implementation of program security controls and mitigations.
  • As directed by government, visit government and industrial sites to inspect facilities, e.g., new construction, renovations, modifications, leased facilities, and security cognizance transfers; validate requirements are being met; and advise security programs at visited location connected to physical security and customer programs
  • Reference and use customer, DoD and IC security directives, instructions, standards, and guidelines to enforce compliance and mitigate security risks
  • Provide input and assist with drafting and maintaining internal customer policy documents, standard operating procedures, and other forms of awareness for physical security
  • Prepare and/or review documentation supporting the ICD 705 SCIF accreditation process, compartmented area approval and secure area approval process to include but not limited to Fixed Facility Checklists, Construction Concept Inspection Reports, Accreditation Memorandum, etc.
  • Provide an extensive list of briefings and security indoctrinations
