About The Position

Polar Semiconductor is seeking an experienced Program/Project Manager, Technology Development and Transfer at our Bloomington, MN location. In this cross-functional leadership role, you will work across the equipment engineering, process development, wafer integration, and characterization and analysis teams to ensure the successful development and/or transfer of semiconductor technology on behalf of third-party customers and partners. The Role: Manage one or more programs/projects to ensure delivery is on time and within budget Present status, issues, and potential solutions to management and executive leadership Adapt existing processes to the fit the latest organizational and corporate needs Communicate with precision and clarity to drive alignment internally and with customers Collaborate, build relationships, and influence team members to achieve objectives The person: Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills Ability to function (thrive) in a dynamic environment Puts the team’s objectives first Drives continuous improvement, both in self and the organization Strong analytical skills Effectively manages customer relationships (internal and external)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of project management experience
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree (MS, PhD, MBA) in business, engineering, physics, or related field
  • 8+ years of project management experience in a technical/engineering environment
  • Experience in the semiconductor, aerospace, and/or defense industries
  • Comfortable managing volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity
  • Leadership experience in either functional or cross-functional roles
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification
  • Active security clearance or the ability to obtain one
