About The Position

Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is seeking an enthusiastic and highly qualified individual to fill the Program/Project Manager position. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse and high-performing team dedicated to mission success. The Program/Project Manager will support Navy C4I programs by leading the execution of complex, large-scale, and high-visibility technical, engineering, and logistics initiatives from inception through implementation. The role is responsible for ensuring alignment with cost, schedule, and technical objectives, while serving as a key liaison between government leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional technical teams to drive successful program outcomes.

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
  • 15+ years of experience in program and project management
  • Proven experience leading IT service delivery, system modernization, or large-scale programs within DoD or Federal environments
  • Strong understanding of enterprise IT systems, networks, and cybersecurity compliance frameworks
  • Experience in project planning, scheduling, risk management, and performance tracking using tools such as MS Project, Primavera, or similar
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience with ITIL-based service management or similar frameworks
  • Strong documentation and reporting skills, including progress reports, technical summaries, and CDRL submissions
  • Bachelor’s degree in any technical or managerial discipline

  • PMP certification preferred
  • CISSP preferred

Responsibilities

  • Define, plan, and execute long-range program strategies, including scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management
  • Ensure compliance with DoD, Department of the Navy (DON), and NAVWAR/NAVSEA acquisition policies, processes, and standards
  • Manage program budgets, cost, schedule, and technical performance using tools such as Navy ERP, Microsoft Project, or Jira
  • Serve as the primary interface between contractors and government leadership (e.g., PMS 450, SEA 05Z), ensuring alignment and effective communication
  • Lead and oversee multidisciplinary teams supporting IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and engineering initiatives
