Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 0-2 years of experience in a related or applicable field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge and experience in Supply Chain processes.
  • Knowledge or experience in Inventory Control/Warehousing/Logistics processes.
  • SAP or other materials requirement planning (MRP) system experience.
  • Customer service skills and problem resolution skills. Ability to track large amounts of data and provide status
  • Ability to work as a team player
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Good Communication skills.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen

Responsibilities

  • Performs the Buy, Make and/or Bill of Material (BOM) planning activities associated with Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) transactions to include procurement, materials management and shop floor control.
  • Performs one or more multiple manufacturing activities within various manufacturing functions.
  • Maintain schedules, production orders, purchase requests, purchase orders and mitigate part shortages.
  • Plans and schedules the movement of raw materials, parts, components, supplies and related materials through receiving inspection resulting in material movement throughout the production cycle.
  • Expedites and optimize material flow through the supply chain to meet customer requirements.
  • Coordinates with manufacturing and Operations Management to provide priority direction for shop floor, provides timely status and expedites or works around plans to preserve schedule.
  • Coordinates with Supply Chain stakeholders including Procurement, Quality, Shipping & Receiving and Operations management to determine appropriate time phased plan for procured parts and executes processes to ensure deliverables meet production schedule requirements.
