About The Position

LA Musica Therapy is a mission-driven music therapy clinic serving children and individuals with special needs throughout the Los Angeles area. We believe therapy should be compassionate, ethical, and impactful—not just for our clients, but for the families and communities we serve. We are seeking a Program Operations Manager who combines strong operational leadership with a genuine heart for the special needs community and a desire to build systems and programs that make a real difference. The Program Operations Manager plays a key leadership role in overseeing program operations, supporting the growth of music therapy programs, coordinating outreach and partnerships, and ensuring strong administrative systems across LA Musica Therapy. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, and comfortable leading people, systems, and processes in a service-based or healthcare environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Nonprofit Management, Education Administration, Operations Management, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in program management, operations, or service-based organizations
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience coordinating teams, schedules, and operational systems
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree (MBA, MHA, MPA, or related field)
  • Experience in healthcare, therapy, education, or nonprofit settings
  • Experience supporting program growth or organizational scaling
  • Familiarity with scheduling platforms, CRM systems, or administrative software

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of music therapy programs
  • Support the development and scaling of group-based therapy programs
  • Improve workflows, systems, and operational processes
  • Collaborate with clinical leadership to ensure quality and consistency
  • Supervise and support Program Coordinators
  • Ensure accountability, communication, and follow-through across teams
  • Serve as a bridge between administrative, clinical, and leadership teams
  • Participate in outreach to schools, organizations, and community partners
  • Attend meetings and represent LA Musica Therapy professionally
  • Provide monthly reports on outreach efforts and results
  • Oversee administrative processes related to: Intake flow Scheduling systems Internal communication
  • Ensure efficiency, consistency, and accountability across operations
  • Oversee and track marketing operations and progress
  • Support outreach and growth initiatives in collaboration with leadership
