About The Position

MicroHealth is seeking an accomplished and strategic Program Manager to oversee the entire program for a complex federal IT contract. This senior leadership position requires an individual with extensive management experience who can ensure operational excellence across all associated teams while maintaining strong relationships with key government stakeholders. Position Overview The Program Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for the contract, responsible for ensuring all deliverables are provided on time and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are consistently met. This role requires exceptional leadership capabilities, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage multiple teams in support of a federal agency with over 10,000 employees across multiple locations. Requirements

  • Minimum: Fifteen (15) years of management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proven track record managing complex IT programs, preferably in federal government environments
  • Demonstrated experience with contract management and SLA compliance
  • Strong background in team leadership and personnel management
  • Required: Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business, Management, or equivalent field
  • Required: ITIL Certification (current and valid)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with federal agencies, particularly USPTO or Department of Commerce
  • Background in managing multi-site operations
  • Experience with government contracting regulations and compliance
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
  • Advanced degree (Master's) in related field
  • Highly Preferred: HDI Support Center Director certification
  • One or more Help Desk Institute (HDI) certifications

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire program for the contract and all associated teams
  • Ensure all deliverables are provided on schedule and meet quality standards
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to all Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Communicate regularly with key government personnel including the SDOD Director, Call Center Manager, and Contracting Officer's Representative (COR)
  • Provide administrative direction to subordinate leads and team members
  • Exercise corporate authority to recruit, hire, and terminate personnel
  • Commit and allocate corporate resources strategically
  • Develop and implement program strategies to enhance service delivery
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Prepare and present program status reports to stakeholders
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all program areas
