Department: School of Pharmacy Job Summary: Manages the development and implementation of an academic program or set of funded activities. Programs are usually focused to a single purpose, may be scientific, research, educational, or service oriented, and may exist as a subset of an integrated funded program activity. Oversees fiscal and grant planning, program implementation and administration, marketing, and communication. This job profile does not supervise program staff. Job Description: Develops and oversees program plans, budgets, and timelines, ensuring that programs are developed and implemented on time and within budget. Collaborates with faculty and other stakeholders to develop and refine academic program content. Manages program-related data and records, including student records, accreditation reports, and program evaluations, leveraging data to drive continuous improvement in program quality and effectiveness. Leads program marketing and recruitment efforts, working with marketing and communications staff to develop and implement marketing campaigns and recruitment strategies. Serves as a liaison between the program and other departments and stakeholders within the University to ensure effective coordination and alignment of program goals and objectives with broader institutional priorities and strategic plans.

Responsibilities

Plans, develops, and executes programs, projects, and other tasks in support of operational goals and needs.
Participates in the development of objectives and goals and develops procedures to efficiently manage operations.
Ensures compliance with policies and procedures.
Manages and maintains departmental records.
Serves as liaison to internal and external constituents.
Facilitates communication and networking among staff and faculty to build collaborative relationships.
Monitors expenses related to programs.
Collects, organizes, maintains, and tracks data.
May supervise, train, and coordinate the activities of subordinate staff.
Collects and analyzes data for use in making recommendations, assessing progress, reporting to internal or external constituents, and/or developing proposals.
Attends related meetings and conferences.
Performs similar or related duties as assigned or required.
