About The Position

Galapagos Federal Systems, LLC is seeking an accomplished and results-driven Program Manager (PM) to provide executive leadership, direction, and oversight across a high-visibility federal program. This role is responsible for ensuring contract success by aligning resources, driving performance excellence, and fostering trusted partnerships with government stakeholders. The PM will serve as the primary interface with the Government Contracting Officer (CO), Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR), senior government leadership, and customer agency representatives. The ideal candidate will provide strategic oversight to ensure all program objectives are met on time and within budget, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance. The PM will lead a diverse team, instill a culture of accountability and innovation, and translate organizational goals into executable plans that directly support mission priorities.

Requirements

  • Active Public Trust Clearance
  • 5+ years of experience in IT support, service management, or related fields
  • Demonstrated leadership experience across multiple functional areas
  • Knowledge of IT applications, network services, systems, and federal security standards
  • Experience with Project Life-cycle Methodologies (PMLC)
  • Familiarity with Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools for communication, reporting, and presentations
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related disciplines
  • Project Management Professional (PMP, required)
  • Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) v4 Foundations certification (Required)
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • A high-level Department of Defense active security clearance is/may be required for this position.
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to government information.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, vision, and direction to ensure program objectives are achieved
  • Serve as the single point of contact for the government, ensuring clear and timely communication
  • Develop and manage program plans, schedules, and performance metrics
  • Drive risk management and mitigation strategies to maintain program continuity
  • Lead and mentor personnel to foster team cohesion and professional growth
  • Oversee financial performance, staffing, and resource allocation
  • Ensure compliance with contractual, security, and regulatory requirements
  • Represent the program in executive-level meetings, providing updates and recommendations
