About The Position

Sabre Systems is looking for a Program Mananger to provide LLC, Sensors and Systems Business Unit Lead. Provide Program Management support for current and future contracts efforts for the Naval Air Systems Command PMAs, Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division and other U.S. Navy Commands as applicable. Sabre Systems is currently a subcontractor on multiple contracts executing work from Manchester, NJ. Tracking and managing contract execution across multiple subcontracts Develop techniques to track contract funding usage across multiple subcontracts. Interfacing with the Prime Contractors for budgetary planning, funds execution and contractual status reporting requirements Monitor Sabre funding requirements, new position requirements, employee tasking, work schedules, and performance and work with the Business Unit Lead to communicate to the appropriate points of contact. Perform supervisory duties for Sabre employees as assigned including performance evaluation, time and attendance, training and managing work schedules Provide mentorship to Sabre employees not under direct supervision Support Sabre Systems Business Development efforts including attending Industry Days and Symposiums, and supporting proposal development efforts

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Program Management, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting government programs, contracts, or program management activities within the Department of Defense (DoD) environment.
  • Experience supporting programs with organizations such as Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) or other U.S. Navy program offices.
  • Knowledge of federal contracting processes, subcontract management, and contract execution.
  • Experience tracking and managing program funding, including monitoring burn rates, funding allocations, and execution across multiple task orders or subcontracts.
  • Ability to coordinate with prime contractors and government stakeholders regarding contractual status, funding, and reporting requirements.
  • Experience supporting program planning, staffing requirements, and resource allocation.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with internal leadership and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience supporting U.S. Navy aviation programs or activities associated with Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD).
  • Experience with DoD financial management tools or contract tracking systems.
  • Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) or other program performance tracking methods.
  • Experience in supervisory or team leadership roles, including performance evaluations and workforce management.
  • Experience supporting proposal development, capture activities, or business development efforts for government contracts.
  • Participation in industry events, symposiums, or government Industry Days related to defense contracting.
  • Project management certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or DAWIA certification.
