About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Program Manager to join our team at MacDill Air Force Base, supporting the Unites States Special Operations Command (SOCOM). Responsibilities Lead program planning, execution, schedule, and cost control across program lifecycle. Manage cross-functional teams and subcontractors; ensure contract and technical performance. Develop risk management plans, mitigation strategies, and status reporting to leadership. Engage with DoD/SOF stakeholders and coordinate with USSOCOM leadership as required. Ensure compliance with DoD acquisition/regulatory requirements and security protocols. Mentor program staff and drive continuous process improvement. Requirements

  • Clearance: TS/SCI (active)
  • Experience: Minimum 16 years in program management
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • DoD/SOF Experience: Minimum 10 years working with DoD/SOF (operational/programmatic)
  • Education/Certs: Bachelor’s degree required; PMP certification preferred
  • Skills: Program planning & control, earned value management familiarity, stakeholder engagement, contract management, strong briefing/written communication skills
  • Other: Previous USSOCOM experience preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s Degree or PhD
  • Active PMP certification
  • Prior experience managing classified programs and cleared personnel
  • Familiarity with DoD acquisition lifecycle, logistics, and budget processes
  • Experience with coalition/partner engagement or interagency coordination
