Primary Role: We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Program Manager to support the operations team. This role is an exciting opportunity for those eager to advance their careers in project management in the utilities industry.

Requirements

  • Self-directed professional with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Proven problem-solver with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities
  • Learn and become proficient with the following systems: Smart Sheet, AS8, GIS, Miss Utility, Microsoft Suite
  • Proficient in basic computer applications and workplace technology
  • Reliable transportation required to meet role and scheduling demands
  • Must successfully complete a criminal background check and drug screen

Nice To Haves

  • Background in electric utility industry
  • Advanced experience in Microsoft Office/Excel

Responsibilities

  • Maintain ongoing communication with management regarding project needs, goals, timelines, and efficiency
  • Develop, update, and maintain project schedules; track progress and report status to customers
  • Monitor daily work completion and identify required actions to maintain schedule adherence
  • Prepare and manage daily, weekly, and monthly project status and progress reports
  • Review project documents and plans for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
  • Assist with utility permit applications and follow up with jurisdictions regarding inspections and compliance requirements
  • Perform administrative functions including invoicing, issuing and modifying purchase orders, and comprehensive project data entry
  • Schedule Miss Utility tickets to support job-specific construction needs
