Leidos is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead our Universal Stage Adapter program supporting NASA’s Space Launch System. The Program Manager will join a team of diverse, collaborative engineers and functional staff who deliver innovative cost-effective solutions to meet national commercial and military space priorities. Primary Responsibilities The Program Manager will lead the team responsible for the design, development, manufacture, and testing of the Universal Stage Adapter hardware supporting the NASA Space Launch System program. The Program Manager is responsible for the planning, tracking, and execution of complex technical tasks within cost, schedule and performance constraints. The program involves diverse technology areas including large scale composites hardware manufacturing, structures, mechanical systems, payload environment control, assembly/integration/test, and system integration. The Program Manager is the primary interface to the customer and Leidos leadership. Responsibilities include: Create project plans and maintain project objectives Oversee the technical scope under the assigned control accounts Lead program level meetings and set expectations for project team Evaluate and guide daily execution activities including oversight of Integrated Project Teams, functional support, subcontractors, and vendors Review integrated master schedule and work with IPT leads to maintain schedule Manage program risk and identify opportunities including working with the IPTs to develop mitigation strategies and plans to realize opportunities Support earned value reporting to the customer Evaluate program technical and programmatic metrics to ensure successful execution Execute program to meet or exceed profitability goals Develop, manage, coordinate and present various informational products including: Monthly Program Management Reviews (PMRs) Weekly senior management meetings Internal and external programmatic reviews Customer IPT meetings Tracking and providing status of internal and external action items Foster intra-project coordination and communication
