Advanced Management Strategies Group (AMSG) is seeking a Program Manager/Sr Military Analyst to support the Operations and Plans Section of the Aviation Center of Excellence (AVCOE) G-5 Directorate. Experience: Minimum 20 years as a Senior Planner/Senior Military Analyst in Army Aviation Clearance Requirement : Secret Scope: The Program Manager/Sr Military Analyst (Operations & Planning Section) will manage the team and day-to-day operations by providing expert business, analytical, and technical support to the AVCOE G-5, directly contributing to the achievement of its strategic goals. By supporting the five core lines of effort: Aviation Enterprise Synchronization, Strategic Communication Alignment, Future Aviation Capability Input, Strengthened Foreign Liaison Program, and Proactive Strategic Planning Cycle. The Program Manager/Sr Military Analyst will facilitate informed decision-making aligned with Army priorities and ensure continuity of support for Aviation Warfighters worldwide, spanning locations at Fort Rucker, AL, Fort Eustis, VA, and Fort Huachuca, AZ.

Requirements

  • Must have at least 20 years of experience as a Senior Planner/Senior Military Analyst in Army Aviation, as an Aviation commissioned branch officer, including successful Aviation Battalion Command (or equivalent).
  • Mastery in planning and executing Army Operations is expected.
  • Clearance Requirement : Secret

Nice To Haves

  • Graduate of a military Senior Service College is preferred.
  • Experience stemming from service at the Aviation Center of Excellence (AVCOE), Combined Arms Center (CAC), Training & Doctrine Command (TRADOC), or Army Futures Command (AFC) is preferred.
  • Expertise may come from rotary wing, fixed wing, or unmanned aerial systems (UAS) operations.

Responsibilities

  • Provides senior‑level planning expertise, operational integration, and program oversight to support organizational mission execution.
  • Lead complex planning efforts, synchronize operations across the enterprise, manage contract personnel and deliverables.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, ensuring plans, processes, and programs are aligned with strategic objectives and executed to standard.
