About The Position

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines. As a Program Manager on Reverse Logistics, you will help drive planning capabilities and processes for Google's hardware products. You will work with historical/projected return rates, component usage rates, and repair operation set-ups. You will build demand and forecast models for service parts and manage components planning efforts across business partners. You will join calls to discuss inventory metrics and ensure you are able to keep supporting our customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in program or project management.
  • 7 years of experience in supply chain operations in the retail sector or consumer hardware.

Nice To Haves

  • 8 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • 5 years of experience in direct supply/demand planning with supply chain management (e.g., forecasting, operations planning, reverse logistics).
  • Track record of influencing long-term business strategy through storytelling and insight-motivated recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead scenario planning for strategic service planning decisions like (extended repair programs, Tariffs, etc.) taking into account customer service and financial goals.
  • Lead quarterly excess and obsolete reviews with teams driving key decisions on refurb sales, disposition, additional buys, etc.
  • Set up a governance framework and cadence for leadership reviews for key service planning decisions, metrics.
  • Ensure to hit Position Zero (P0) metrics like excess and obsolete, same day repairs.
  • Represent service planning in key network change decisions work streams of Global Service Logistics (GSL).
