About The Position

Responsible for overall vision, scope, coordination, and delivery of the $1M grant-funded Quantum Learning Lab and Quantum Technician program. Establishes and implements program structure, secures buy-in from key stakeholders, and ensures program is delivered on time, within budget, and meets expectations. This large, complex, cross-functional academic and technology program effort requires long term vision, industry connections, and an ability to work seamlessly across multiple areas.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Teaching, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Five (5) years experience in work planning, production, technician, estimating/budgeting, resource planning, risk assessment, expectation management, scope and issue management with complex business and IT projects in the quantum, aerospace, manufacturing, or construction fields preferred.
  • Five (5) years experience implementing processes and projects across multiple levels and functions of an organization working with a Project Management Office (PMO), using program and project processes and methodologies.
  • Two (2) or more years of management or supervisory r responsibilities required.
  • Knowledge of program management best practices.
  • Work style that yields high results when working independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to work with different levels of management throughout an organization and translate customer needs into technology and process solutions.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and effectively handle competing demands and deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Quantum Learning Lab and Technician Program, including direction-setting, instruction, and communication with stakeholders.
  • Plans, designs, develops and responsible for delivery of Quantum Learning Lab and Quantum Technician Program; in partnership with SME and other grantees, develops training materials consistent with the needs of students and industry to include interactive exercises, handbooks, visual aids, software and hardware-based tutorials; ensures content is developed consistently with formal instructional design methodology and adheres to key learning strategies for the target audience; collaborates in the development of program and/or discipline promotional materials; prepares and provides students with course outline that support learning objectives set forth in the course syllabus; assesses student performance and maintain grade records.
  • Develops and monitors grant progress and measurement, program charter, work plans, work breakdown schedules, project milestone and status reports, resource plans, and budgets.
  • Oversee program charter, timeline, budget, and grant deliverables; manage risk, resolve issues, and track performance indicators to ensure program success.
  • Collaborate with teachers and instructional staff to deliver aligned professional development and classroom integration strategies.
  • Design sustainable systems and processes for program continuity, lab operations, and ongoing instructional support.
  • Engage community and industry partners to promote the program, co-design learning experiences, and expand student opportunities.
  • Develop communication tools and reports to keep internal and external stakeholders informed on program progress, challenges, and impact.
  • Identify and pursue growth opportunities through relationship-building, presentations, and outreach with local and national partners.
  • Maintain current knowledge in quantum education and instructional best practices through ongoing professional learning.
