About The Position

The Program Manager of Organic Social Content & Engagement leads the strategy, creation, and optimization of Floor & Decor’s organic social media presence, with a primary focus on content excellence, community engagement, and brand perception. This role is responsible for building authentic connections with both homeowners and Pro audiences through platform‑native storytelling, hands‑on content development, and proactive community management. This position is organic‑first and content‑led, partnering closely with Creative, Content, PR, Customer Care, and Paid Media teams, but does not own paid social budgets or integrated media execution.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of organic social media experience, with at least 3 years owning organic channel strategy and KPIs on the brand side
  • Demonstrated experience with both B2C and B2B social audiences
  • Hands‑on experience with organic social platforms and tools, including Meta Business Suite, Pinterest for Business, TikTok for Business, Reddit, and YouTube Studio
  • Strong organic content performance analysis skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Proven copywriting and storytelling capability across aspirational consumer content and credible, educational Pro content
  • Strong visual sensibility and experience directing social‑first creative, especially short‑form vertical video
  • Experience partnering with Customer Care or community teams on response frameworks and escalation best practices
  • Familiarity with influencer, affiliate, and UGC programs at a strategic or advisory level
  • Proficiency with social listening, content management, and analytics platforms
  • Strong organizational, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration skills
  • Comfort using AI tools for ideation and workflow efficiency while maintaining strong editorial judgment

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Digital Media, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
  • Experience reaching trade, contractor, or design professional audiences strongly preferred
  • Light shooting/editing skills (for short-form vertical video)

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute the organic social media strategy across platforms, including Meta, Pinterest, TikTok, Reddit, YouTube, and emerging channels.
  • Develop distinct organic content pillars and growth roadmaps for both B2C audiences (homeowners, BIYers, design enthusiasts) and B2B audiences (contractors, installers, designers, and Pro customers).
  • Define, track, and manage organic social KPIs, including reach, engagement, community growth, and sentiment.
  • Prepare and deliver regular performance summaries and insights to leadership, using data to inform strategic recommendations and continuous optimization.
  • Build and maintain an organic social content calendar aligned to the enterprise marketing calendar, balancing consistent publishing with real‑time responsiveness to trends and brand moments.
  • Champion organic content that showcases Floor & Decor’s product assortment, expertise, and value across all price points.
  • Take a hands‑on role in organic content development, including ideation, concepting, scripting, and directing platform‑native content.
  • Apply best practices for organic discovery and engagement, including social SEO, trending audio, emerging formats, and creative testing.
  • Partner with Creative and Content teams to brief, review, and optimize organic social assets.
  • Collaborate with Paid Media teams to identify high‑performing organic content for potential amplification, without ownership of paid media execution.
  • Work cross‑functionally with Brand Marketing, PR, Lifecycle, Pro Marketing, Digital Experience, Creative, Content, Paid Media, and Customer Care teams to ensure organic social content supports full‑funnel objectives.
  • Provide strategic input on influencer, affiliate, and creator initiatives, including audience alignment, content direction, and organic performance benchmarks.
  • Support the development and amplification of authentic user‑generated content from both homeowners and Pro customers.
  • Monitor and engage with organic social communities by responding to comments, direct messages, mentions, and tags in a timely and brand‑appropriate manner.
  • Serve as a steward of brand voice and tone across organic social interactions.
  • Partner with Customer Care teams to align on community management best practices, response guidance, and escalation frameworks.
  • Utilize social listening tools to monitor sentiment, identify trends, and surface actionable insights.
  • Share community feedback and sentiment trends with internal partners, including PR, Marketing, and Store Operations, on a regular cadence.
