About The Position

The Program Manager, Environment of Care and Emergency Management is responsible for the development, implementation, and oversight of programs that ensure a safe, compliant, and prepared healthcare environment across the Palm Beach Market. This role integrates responsibilities and coordination across Emergency Management, Hazardous Waste Management functions. The Program Manager, Environment of Care and Emergency Management will lead the Environment of Care Committee, ensuring compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations, including The Joint Commission, CMS and AHCA standards. In addition, the Program Manager, Environment of Care and Emergency Management provides support to the Directors of Plant Operations (DPOs) with the oversight of construction projects and ensuring that Life Safety Measures are met and documented appropriately. In addition, this position will oversee the Security Program at both facilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Emergency Management or related field from an accredited educational institution required.
  • 3-5 years of experience with Emergency Management and Environmental of Care in a Healthcare setting.
  • Strong leadership, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Projects a positive attitude, demonstrated collaborative competencies, and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to foster an environment of teamwork, build strong working relationships, and mentor direct reports.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Computer proficiency with knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • CHEP or CHSP required.
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Regular travel between hospitals required.
  • This is not a remote position.
