About The Position

Ready to be at the epicenter of tech innovation and community building in the heart of San Francisco? We're looking for a dynamic Program Manager of Operations to join the AWS Builder Loft - where the future of cloud technology comes to life! This isn't your typical operations role; you'll be orchestrating a buzzing hub where developers, tech leaders, and innovators converge to shape the future of technology. Imagine leading a space where hundreds of passionate technologists, where breakthrough innovations are showcased on demo nights, and where the next generation of cloud architects hone their skills. You'll partner with stakeholders across the company to create experiences that not only educate but inspire, all while working alongside some of the brightest minds in tech. As our Program Manager, you'll have the unique opportunity to: Craft unforgettable tech experiences that regularly attract hundreds of attendees per event Shape the learning journey of future cloud leaders Build relationships with industry pioneers and community trailblazers Drive innovation in how we engage and nurture the AWS technical community Be part of a team that's revolutionizing how technical education and community building happens in the heart of the tech world. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, where success is measured in community engagement and excitement, and where you can directly impact the future of cloud technology - this role is calling your name! The AWS Developer Experience team is a technical function focused on engaging with Builders at scale. We are focused on inspiring innovation on the AWS platform, generating preference for AWS products to help accelerate sign ups and service consumption, and driving organic advocacy for AWS. We deeply understand the journey of Builders, and use these insights to build partnerships and alignment across AWS functions, educate and inspire leadership to engage with Builders, and help transform our go-to-market efforts and services on behalf of our technical customers. AWS values diverse experiences. Even if you do not meet all of the qualifications and skills listed in the job description, we encourage candidates to apply. If your career is just starting, hasn't followed a traditional path, or includes alternative experiences, don't let it stop you from applying. Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the world's most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform. We pioneered cloud computing and never stopped innovating - that's why customers from the most successful startups to Global 500 companies trust our robust suite of products and services to power their businesses. Here at AWS, it's in our nature to learn and be curious. Our employee-led affinity groups foster a culture of inclusion that empower us to be proud of our differences. Ongoing events and learning experiences, including our Conversations on Race and Ethnicity (CORE) and AmazeCon (gender diversity) conferences, inspire us to never stop embracing our uniqueness. We're continuously raising our performance bar as we strive to become Earth's Best Employer. That's why you'll find endless knowledge-sharing, mentorship and other career-advancing resources here to help you develop into a better-rounded professional. We value work-life harmony. Achieving success at work should never come at the expense of sacrifices at home, which is why we strive for flexibility as part of our working culture. When we feel supported in the workplace and at home, there's nothing we can't achieve in the cloud.
