You Are: As the Amazon Connect Developer, you will be responsible for leading a team of developers, overseeing the development of our CCaaS solution, and contributing hands-on to critical aspects of our infrastructure and codebase. This role requires a balance of technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to navigate complex AWS environments.

  • Lead and mentor a team of 3-4 developers, conducting daily stand-ups and team meetings
  • Review and approve merge requests in GitLab, ensuring code quality and best practices
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
  • Create and optimize GitLab CI/CD pipelines
  • Create and update Amazon Connect contact flow and flow modules
  • Develop Lambda functions and associated code in Python
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Amazon Connect and other AWS services
  • Collaborate with functional teams to gather and refine project requirements
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of Amazon Connect contact flows
  • Manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • 5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
  • Strong proficiency in Python programming
  • Extensive experience with Git and GitLab
  • Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and experience with Terraform
  • Familiarity with AWS services, particularly Lambda, IAM, and DynamoDB
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Developer certification
  • Experience with Amazon Connect or other CCaaS platforms
  • Familiarity with additional AWS services such as Secrets Manager, Parameter Store, and Lex
  • Understanding of telecommunications or contact center technologies
