We are actively seeking to fill the position of Program Manager III, based in one of our advanced R&D facilities located in Marinette, WI. This role offers a hybrid work environment, requiring three days of in-office presence and allowing two days of remote work each week. What You Will Do: The Program Manager III will be accountable for the coordination and successful execution of New Product Introduction (NPI) projects concerning Fire Suppression products. This role entails overseeing all facets of projects, establishing deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring as well as summarizing project progress. In addition, you will be responsible for leading a PMO team in coordination and execution of NPI projects. The key responsibilities include managing the day-to-day activities of your team, providing guidance on PMO policies and processes, overseeing project management staff, and collaborating with other department leaders to develop projects and programs. To be successful in this role, you shall demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills, be a self-starter and well organized, and be able to work under pressure and with minimal supervision. Deal with ambiguity and agility – can effectively cope with change, shift gears, and make decisions based on available information.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Chemical).
  • 15+ years of professional experience in product design and new product introduction within a manufacturing context (e.g., collaboration with design engineers, manufacturing, sourcing, product management, marketing, etc.).
  • 10+ years of experience in program management.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing product development projects to completion.
  • Capacity to navigate ambiguity, manage change effectively, transition priorities, and make sound decisions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, along with strong analytical, writing, and presentation abilities.
  • Strong conflict management and critical thinking skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with PMI's Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK®).
  • Meticulous attention to detail and technical accuracy.
  • Outstanding organizational and technical competencies.
  • Effective interpersonal and multitasking skills.
  • Product launch experience is essential.

Nice To Haves

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
  • Proficiency in Visio.
  • Experience within the fire protection industry.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct the work of a program management team.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports for upper management regarding project statuses.
  • Maintain familiarity with various engineering, project management, and product concepts, practices, and procedures.
