Summary This position is responsible for overall program performance including schedule performance, cost performance, and customer affinity by executing the following duties: Essential Duties and Responsibilities Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Direct all phases of the program from requirements analysis, initial planning through all phases to successful product delivery and assure a timely closeout of completed programs to ensure that all obligations are satisfied, and program documentation is properly recorded. Support program bid and proposal activities. Ensure that requirements of the request for proposal are met in the preparation and documentation of bids and proposals. Develop and implement plans and schedules to execute contracts/subcontracts. Allocate and control contract budgets for labor, material, travel, and purchased services. Report program status to senior management as . Development and maintenance of the program integrated master schedule to include the internal and external milestones and phases as established by the respective program teams. Establish and monitor adherence to program master plans and schedules, identify program problems, obtain solutions, direct allocation of resources. Develop and implement corrective action plans when deviations from budgets and/or schedule are evident . Seek senior management assistance in resolving schedule and budget problems as they arise. Formally identify , assess, monitor , and mitigate risk throughout the program life cycle. Obtain management approval prior to making decisions that will cause deterioration of established program, cost, and schedule objectives . Contribute to program financial forecasts, report progress to financial objectives . Coordinate with other departments on resolution of contractual problems with customer. Coordinate with Sr Program Manager and Contracts Manager on issues pertaining to contract requirements, changes, and interpretations. Ability to clearly communicate program status, issues, risks, opportunities and plans to internal senior management. Ensure coordination across multiple programs and/or projects and with other product line leads. Direct and coordinate multi-million- to billion-dollar proposal activities from U.S. and foreign governments .

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or 20+ years of relatable work experience.
• Successful track record in managing or proposing complex aerospace/defense projects as a prime or subcontractor to a domestic or foreign military organization.
• Must be a dynamic and energetic leader that involves other team members in the decision making and change process.
• The position requires coordinating and working with cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication skills to advise team members and senior management on status and/or actions.
• Microsoft Office Suite skills, including PowerPoint.
• Active Secret security clearance preferred, Secret clearance issuance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment is – DoD.
• High-energy and self-driven individual that can “make things happen” without a large support organization to depend on daily and knows how to manage his/her time wisely.
• A personality style that is team oriented and has the success of the customer, program, organization, and business as his/her main objective .
• Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.
• Must comply with all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures.
• Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form.
• Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know.
• Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval.
• All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources.
• Incumbent must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.

• Experience with earned value cost accounting and reporting preferred; experience with metrics for assessing and reporting program progress, productivity, and variance analysis.
