Position Summary: Develop and maintain enterprise-wide DR/BC strategies that align with organizational risk tolerance and regulatory mandates (e.g., HIPAA, SOC 2). Lead Business Impact Analyses (BIA) to identify critical functions and dependencies while establishing clear RTO and RPO benchmarks for all systems. Create comprehensive recovery documentation, including runbooks and communication protocols, while establishing program governance and escalation paths. Conduct regular risk assessments to identify operational vulnerabilities and develop proactive mitigation strategies for emerging threats and supply chain dependencies. Coordinate with Cybersecurity, IT, and Facilities teams to ensure an integrated approach to organizational resilience and incident response. Provide active performance management, coaching, and career development for direct reports to drive engagement and professional growth. Foster a collaborative department culture by building strong relationships with leadership and teammates to improve morale, unity, and overall retention.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or Emergency Management required (Master’s preferred).
  • Years of experience 7+ years of experience in BCDR or Crisis Management, specifically managing enterprise-wide resilience programs in complex environments.
  • 5+ years of project management experience with the ability to influence senior leadership and manage multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Extensive knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud architecture (Azure/AWS), and data center operations, including backup and replication technologies.
  • Proven ability to conduct Risk Assessments and Business Impact Analyses (BIA) to guide organizational recovery strategies.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and a track record of meeting healthcare-specific regulatory requirements (HIPAA, SOC 2, etc.).
  • Demonstrated success in leading enterprise-level DR/BC testing and managing real-world incident responses.
  • Exceptional analytical problem-solving skills and proficiency with incident management platforms and Microsoft 365.
