This role manages, implements, and administers the Eisenhower Medical Center Compliance Program by monitoring compliance and patient privacy policies, conducting compliance audits and investigations, providing employee education on compliance issues, and maintaining compliance records and documentation. As the Information Privacy Officer, the position oversees the daily operations of the Information Privacy Program, including policy and procedure maintenance, program compliance monitoring, investigations, tracking of incidents and breaches, reporting cases to CDPH/OCR, and ensuring patient’s rights in compliance with federal and state laws. Eisenhower Health has been a leader in health care for the Coachella Valley since its medical center opened in 1971, steadily growing and adding services, capabilities, and facilities to meet the needs of the expanding area.
