About The Position

Is it surprising to hear that a financial institution of 1.5 million members and over $30 billion in managed assets say that success comes from focusing on people, not profits? Our “people helping people” philosophy has guided us since 1935, driving our deep commitment to serving our members, communities, and each other. When you join our team, you become part of a purpose-driven organization where your work makes a real difference. While we’re proud of our history, we’re even more excited about our future. With business and technology transformation on the horizon, there’s never been a better time to be part of BECU. IMPACT YOU’LL MAKE: As a Program Manager for Community Engagement, you’ll take ownership of two signature programs—BECU Cares and the People Helping People Awards—that engage employees and members with the communities we serve. Your work will help scale, streamline, and bring innovative ideas to these initiatives, ensuring they grow and evolve alongside our organization and deliver meaningful impact. By improving processes, driving engagement, and supporting events, you’ll strengthen BECU’s commitment to purpose, inclusion, and community advocacy. This is your chance to make a difference where it matters most. To join our dynamic team in this role, candidates must reside in Washington State. This is a hybrid position with regular onsite presence at our Tukwila headquarters and across the greater Seattle area for event and program activities. Whether working remotely or onsite, we are committed to keeping you fully engaged and included in our collaborative environment. This isn’t just about ticking off tasks on a list.
