We are seeking a Program Management Specialist to join our team in Moorestown, NJ.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical or business-related discipline
  • This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a government secret clearance, U.S. Citizenship is required
  • This position requires the successful applicant to obtain and maintain the required security clearance or other authorization(s) within the necessary timeframe required by applicable contract(s)
  • Must have a minimum of 2-4 years of experience working on software projects entailing the development of tactical real-time mission critical software for the Department of Defense, preferably for the USN (SSDS Program a bonus)

Responsibilities

  • Manages technical, cost, and schedule performance of multiple Aegis/BMD/USN technical projects in accordance with contract requirements
  • Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes
  • Support new proposals and updates to existing proposals through use of estimation and pricing tools
  • Prepares budgets and schedules for contract work and performs and/or assists in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis
  • Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance
  • Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications.
  • Performs analyses and prepares reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines
  • Ensure timely completion of project tasks within budget utilizing appropriate scheduling and change control processes
  • Support creation and tracking of Estimates to Complete (ETC) and Comprehensive Estimate at Complete (CEAC) analysis
  • Collaborate across the organization supporting finance and functional activities to establish budgets and performance plan for project execution
  • Prepares program plans to ensure program requirements and statement of work are captured and scheduled
  • Performs schedule risk assessments to identify and mitigate program cost and scheduling risks
  • Ensures adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditure projections, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government
