About The Position

Our client’s contractor officers will trust you to organize and coordinate program objectives, while your team will look to you for direction as they navigate requirements, budget constraints, and staffing challenges. As an authority on the account, you’ll identify opportunities to grow the business by supporting your client’s mission. You’ll also broaden your expertise in problem management, strategic planning, reviewing contracts, and more. Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in program or project management
  • 3+ years of experience leading a PMO or enterprise-level programs
  • Experience with continuous improvement
  • Experience leading, mentoring, and evaluating program and project management staff
  • Ability to manage large, cross-functional programs with multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to establish and enforce PMO standards, policies, controls, and performance metrics aligned with program objectives
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and drive on-time delivery across multiple programs
  • Ability to manage and track financials and budgets, and manage associated risks
  • Ability to pay strict attention to detail and ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance in program documentation, reporting, and deliverables driving to delivery excellence
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice To Haves

  • 8+ years of experience in program and project management within a government or public sector environment
  • Experience with government-approved project management and reporting tools, such as MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, or SharePoint
  • Knowledge of government governance, compliance, and oversight requirements, such as GAO, OMB, FAR, and state or local regulatory frameworks
  • Possession of excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and stakeholder-influencing skills
  • Possession of excellent time-management and prioritization skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, Law or a related field preferred; Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent a plus
  • PMP, PgMP, or equivalent Certification
