Requirements

  • Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student in business, management, operations, finance, information systems, analytics, supply chain, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in project management, business operations, or organizational effectiveness.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and work independently in a professional environment.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills appropriate for a professional business setting.

Nice To Haves

  • Interest in emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), and their application to business processes and project management is a plus.
  • Experience with data tracking tools or databases (e.g., Airtable) is a plus.
  • Previous internship, academic project, or extracurricular experience demonstrating responsibility, organization, or analytical thinking is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Support the maintenance and enhancement of tools used to track Company and Business Unit Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Organize, analyze, and document best practices within departments to enhance cross-functional collaboration and efficiency.
  • Support issue tracking in the Management System (Airtable), including updating tickets, monitoring status changes, and escalating questions to the PMO team as needed.
  • Assist the PMO Team with tracking PMO Framework adoption by Business Unit, Project Leader, Reporting PMO, and Strategic Program.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of PMO training materials that includes project management fundamentals, templates, and reference documents.
  • Improve PMO Training Program processes, systems, and materials for enterprise-wide PMO Framework expansion.
  • Track and analyze value and benefits realization reporting data.
  • Assist with preparing project management methodology standards and mechanisms to ensure process consistency with organizational goals and industry best practices.
  • Suggest improvements to enhance project delivery effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration.
  • Document project intake information, meeting notes, and project closeout materials.
  • Support coordination activities such as scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, tracking action items, and following up on milestone progress.
  • Communicate professionally with internal teams and stakeholders under the guidance of the PMO team.
  • Identify and document process improvement opportunities observed during project activities.
  • Assist with collecting, organizing, and updating project performance data according to KPIs and metrics established by the PMO, ELT, and Business Unit Leaders.
  • Support preparation of project status reporting, including risks, issues, dependencies, and outcomes.
  • Implement quality assurance practices throughout the project lifecycle to maintain high standards of deliverables.
  • Assist in identifying, documenting, and tracking project risks or issues that may impact project success.
  • Support maintenance of risk, issue, and mitigation logs.
  • Document lessons learned, value realization, BAU checklist, and go-live readiness materials.
  • Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by PMO Leadership or ELT.
  • Perform other duties as needed to support the department and organization's objectives.
  • Other duties as assigned.
