About The Position

The Program Leader, Systems Modernization will lead Allied Benefit’s claims system modernization program, driving integrated planning, governance, and delivery oversight from mobilization through execution. This role ensures alignment across technology, operations, and business readiness teams while maintaining accountability for schedule, budget, and outcomes. The leader will translate the modernization roadmap into actionable plans, manage risk and communication, and keep the program organized, informed, and on track.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in program or project management, with leadership experience in large-scale technology transformation required
  • Experience with healthcare or claims administration platforms.
  • Expertise in integrated planning, governance, and vendor coordination.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex delivery across software development, testing, and deployment activities
  • Experience with healthcare or claims administration platforms.
  • Familiarity with code modernization or platform refactoring initiatives
  • Proven success managing multi-year delivery programs across business and IT teams.
  • Exposure to system integration, environment management, code conversion, or legacy-to-modern platform transition projects
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills with executive presence.

  • PMP or Agile certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day modernization program activities across all workstreams and partners.
  • Develop and manage the integrated roadmap, including milestones, dependencies, and resources.
  • Establish and run program governance, decision forums, and executive reporting routines.
  • Coordinate internal and partner resources to maintain alignment, accountability, and progress across business, technology, and vendor teams.
  • Track program risks, issues, and decisions through a structured RAID process.
  • Oversee readiness for testing, cutover, and deployment activities, including environment provisioning, data conversion, and system integration planning.
  • Manage program communications, stakeholder engagement, and progress reporting.
  • Monitor schedule, scope, and budget; recommend adjustments as needed.
  • Support continuous improvement of program processes and delivery efficiency, DevOps coordination, and cross-team collaboration
  • Other duties as assigned.
