About The Position

This position provides strategic support for ECIC’s grants and subaward development, management, and administration, covering the entire grants lifecycle, from pre-award development through award execution, monitoring, reporting, and close-out. The role ensures compliance with organizational policies, funding requirements, and regulatory standards while fostering strong relationships with grantees and subrecipients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with five (5) years of overall relevant work experience, with at least three (3) years of paid work experience in grants management or related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including intermediate to advanced Excel Skills (i.e. data analysis, formulas, pivot tables, chart creation, etc.)
  • Demonstrated commitment to racial equity and equity as a whole.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail while managing multiple tasks, projects, and timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of grants, including pre-award and application development, award management, compliance monitoring, and close-out activities.
  • Serve as a primary liaison for grantees and subrecipients, providing guidance, technical assistance, and support to ensure compliance and successful implementation.
  • Manage equitable and inclusive grant-making processes while collaborating with internal and external partners to maintain efficient, transparent workflows.
  • Monitor and evaluate subrecipient grant activities to ensure timely reporting, adherence to funding requirements, and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Develop and enforce clear and concise grants administration policies and procedures in alignment with organizational guidelines, funding sources, and regulatory requirements.
  • In collaboration with the program teams, manage and document the full lifecycle of grant-making, including award processes, timelines, and related activities ensuring alignment with organizational policies, funding sources, and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the use and management of grant-making platforms for grantee/subrecipients in collaboration with program teams (e.g., Fluxx, Salesforce) and train relevant staff on their proper use.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between program teams, finance, and other operations teams to ensure seamless communication and efficient grant management processes.
  • Provide technical assistance (TA) to program grantees and subrecipients.
  • Oversee the implementation of an inclusive and equitable grant review process, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and unconscious bias mitigation.
  • Receive, review, and enter grant-related application documents into the organization’s filing system.
  • Manage the review and feedback process for grantee/subrecipient budgets and financial reports.
  • Collaborate with senior directors and other team members to develop or revise grant applications, materials, and reporting formats.
  • Provide guidance to ensure timely completion of all grant-related activities and reporting requirements.
