About The Position

PROGRAM FACILITIES & OPERATIONS MANAGER Salary range starts at $58,000 per year. Based on experience, skills, and education. Are you passionate about wanting to support youth in having a better life? Lighthouse Youth & Family Services has a Program Facilities & Operations Manager position available at our Paint Creek Youth Center located in Bainbridge, Oh. (easy commuting distance from Hillsboro, Chillicothe, Waverly and Washington CH.) The Facilities & Operations Manager is responsible for the comprehensive oversight, supervision, and coordination of facility maintenance, property management, greenhouse operations, and operational scheduling and complex staff scheduling systems to ensure daily operational needs are met.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Two (2) years’ work experience in business administration, social service, or residential setting.
  • Experience with data collection, analysis and problem solving.
  • Demonstrated supervisory/leadership experience.
  • First Aid/CPR/AED certified (agency provided)
  • Handle with Care certified (agency provided)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the cleanliness of the facility and ensures facility buildings are in good repair and condition.
  • Engage vendors as needed for ordering supplies, repairs, improvements, and services.
  • Oversee operation of the greenhouse.
  • Acts as facility liaison for IT services
  • Oversee the Work Appreciation for Youth program.
  • Manages and assigns the work of maintenance team.
  • Create reports on maintenance, repairs, safety and other occurrences.
  • Develop and oversee on and off-site community service projects.
  • Schedules, facilitates, and documents emergency drills.
  • Tracks and schedules all medical appointments as required.
  • Manages facility activities with internal/external customers and visitors.
  • Develop staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage for facility safety and standards.
  • Works with operations leadership in filling vacancies and gaps in staff schedule.
  • Reviews, approves/manages PTO requests of all BHS staff.
  • Oversees BHS staff timecards for accuracy and timeliness of submission.
  • Provides supervision to Maintenance, Facility Support and Horticultural teams.
