About The Position

As a Program Excellence Coordinator, you’ll play a meaningful role in providing direct support, oversight, guidance, and training to enhance the quality and effectiveness of behavioral health and residential treatment services. This position will collaborate closely with program and clinical staff, quality and compliance departments, leadership, and external stakeholders to promote best practices, implement quality improvement initiatives, and ensure adherence to accreditation, regulatory, and organizational standards and guidelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a psychology, social work, education, or other human services related field.
  • Two or more years of experience in intellectual/developmental disabilities or behavioral health services, preferably working with individuals with co-occurring IDD/behavioral health conditions.
  • Strong knowledge of ICFIID standards and regulations.
  • Two or more years of experience with compliance and quality initiatives preferred.
  • Working knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations for services for behavioral health, developmental disability, and autism services.
  • Passion for developing and implementing process improvement.
  • Ability to teach and train others on the rights of individuals supported, trauma informed care, and regulatory/licensing/certification standards and requirements.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for improving the lives of others.
  • Must have reliable transportation. Valid Ohio Driver’s License with Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles; proof of car insurance; insurable driving record (five points or fewer).
