How you'll contribute We are seeking an experienced and relationship-driven Program Director to join our growing health system. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of our medical staff and advancing access to high-quality care across our communities. This role is responsible for designing, organizing and implementing the classroom instruction and clinical experiences of students in accordance with the planned curriculum. Coordinates the function of the curriculum and program evaluation plan that assures positive outcomes in keeping with approval/accreditation bodies. Essential Responsibilities: Administers a curriculum plan that assures appropriate theory and clinical instruction and attains positive program outcomes. Generates contracts that are current and accurate. Assumes responsibility that records are current, secure, confidential, and maintained according to established policy guidelines. Designs the School's academic calendar. Represents the School at professional meetings, Hospital committees, professional organizations, Education Council, and Allied Health meetings. Engages in a positive partnership with the Director, Education Programs, in the effective management of the Allied Health School. Other Responsibilities Mentors clinical faculty and assists in the process of professional development of the department. Administers a curriculum plan that assures appropriate theory and clinical instruction and attains positive program outcomes. Conducts a continuous systematic evaluation of the program to measure attainment of accreditation criteria and program outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in health related field.
  • Two or more years of full-time experience in hospital/emergency services.
  • Instructor status in CPR, PHTLS, PALS, and ACLS.
  • Functioned with medical command status.
  • Current licensure/certification in area of expertise

  • Master’s Degree in appropriate field of health or education.
