As a member of the Vendor Management team, our This role provides enterprise leadership for the GovPro vendor management program, encompassing governance oversight, continuous improvement, and change leadership. It is accountable for driving the successful implementation, optimization, and ongoing enhancement of programs delivered both internally and through external vendor partners, ensuring measurable, sustainable outcomes aligned with organizational strategy. Additionally, the position delivers high‑level strategic consulting across GovPro functions, guiding teams in best‑practice process design, program evaluation, regulatory alignment, and operational excellence. Leveraging strong cross‑functional partnerships, data‑driven insights, and a consultative leadership approach, this role advances a high-performance culture, elevates the customer experience, and drives transformation across business practices – all in service of creating a person-focused health care experience. What You Bring to Cambia: Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or related field required. At least 10 years of experience in healthcare insurance operations, care management, utilization management, vendor management, or large‑scale program/project leadership. Master’s degree and prior leadership experience preferred. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered. Strong consulting capability, including the ability to assess needs, frame problems, recommend solutions, and influence stakeholders across GovPro and the enterprise. Expertise in program management, particularly in vendor management programs involving high‑profile, complex vendor environments. Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret complex data, develop insights, and inform decision‑making. Experience designing, managing, and evaluating SLAs, performance metrics, governance structures, and vendor processes. Ability to evaluate program effectiveness, identify improvement opportunities, and lead continuous improvement activities. Demonstrated success managing major vendor performance issues and developing effective mitigation and resolution strategies. Knowledge of health insurance industry trends, regulatory expectations, and evolving technologies. Familiarity with contract language, contractual risk identification, and mitigation strategies. Skilled in stakeholder engagement, relationship-building, and supporting others through change. Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools to enhance productivity, insights, or operational decision‑making. Responsibilities

  • Lead program management activities for vendor management, including overseeing te governance processes, operational oversight, and the development of scalable program structures and tools.
  • Oversee moderate to highly complex vendor relationships, including SLA management, performance score‑carding, risk mitigation, and structured business reviews.
  • Design and implement sustainable vendor performance strategies that strengthen operational outcomes and advance long-term program objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics and KPIs, delivering actionable insights, strategic recommendations, and high‑quality reporting for senior leadership.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to resolve implementation, compliance, productivity, and process design challenges, ensuring alignment with organizational standards.
  • Develop and maintain monitoring, control, and governance procedures aligned with contractual, accreditation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain program documentation, reporting systems, and analytical frameworks to assess program and vendor performance.
  • Mentor and develop vendor managers and emerging talent, strengthen organizational capabilities and support enterprise competency growth.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in vendor management, providing guidance on enterprise vendor needs, improvement opportunities, and best practices.
  • Promote continuous learning and adoption of effective vendor performance management practices across GovPro.
  • Build functional expertise in vendor management to inform strategic planning and enterprise alignment with broader enterprise objectives.
  • Provide expert consulting services to GovPro departments and cross‑functional partners on improvement initiatives, change adoption, and operational challenges.
  • Serve as a rapid‑response problem solver, quickly assessing complex issues and partnering with leaders to develop effective solutions; lead and manage consulting engagements from project initiation through program delivery.
  • Lead end‑to-end process reviews to identify improvement opportunities, promote consistency, and strengthen system and process alignment across teams.
  • Drive and prioritize continuous improvement and change initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Serve as a change agent, fostering a culture of improvement within internal teams and across vendor operations.
  • Build strong, influential relationships across GovPro and the enterprise; model effective leadership and facilitate adoption of improvement strategies.
