The Director Government Programs- Planning & Consulting position is responsible for driving the execution of strategic analytic priorities for Government Programs and CFO areas through business planning, consultation, and delivery oversight of data, analytics, and modeling capabilities. This role promotes the use of AI, automation, and best-in-class technology across teams; drives organizational priorities and business outcomes as the consultative partner across analytics, operations, and modeling teams by managing and coordinating execution of insights, tools, and governance. The Director leads, organizes and executes governance of Medicare Advantage analytics ecosystem working closely with MA segment leadership; establishes internal consultative intake and delivery of best-in-class data and advanced analytics / AI driven insights to support key segment initiatives and goals; partners with other government programs analytics functions and other key stakeholders (IT/analytics center of excellence) to standardize tools and drive adoption of emerging technologies. This position also represents the organization in cross-functional planning forums and ensure business needs are reflected in enterprise roadmaps (transformation office). Governance and Planning: Lead governance of Medicare Advantage Analytics Ecosystem and CFO area data/analytics projects and represent Government Programs & CFO priorities across enterprise planning forums. Align roadmap execution to enterprise strategic goals (e.g., AIP priorities), driving accountability and transparency. Establish Demand and Intake Management Processes: Drive demand and intake processes for modeling, analytics, and insights requests to align end user customer asks; collaborate with Government Programs and CFO leadership and key Ecosystem partners to prioritize, estimate, and plan work efforts. Drive Consultation and Advisory: Provide subject matter consultation to business units to optimize delivery of insights and operational tools; ensure optimal use and build of data assets collaborating with IT and other analytics groups. Support Execution Management: Monitor, coordinate, and manage execution of analytics and data tool delivery including dashboards, operational reporting, and advanced analytics products. Ensure on time, in-scope delivery across workstreams. Advance Standardization and Innovation: Partner with analytics groups and IT to standardize tools and drive adoption of emerging technologies and AI to ensure the organization enhances and optimizes data and analytics insights for Government Programs and the enterprise. Coordinate Stakeholder Engagement: Represent the organization in cross-functional planning forums and ensure business needs are reflected in the Government Programs Analytics group & Actuarial Services roadmap. Direct the activities of assigned business units including strategic planning, problem-solving, staff development and communication. Develop goals and objectives for assigned business units that support the organization’s strategy, products, and services. Collaborate across business units with key stakeholders to align business objectives. Oversee the development and implementation of business unit policies, systems, and processes. Lead, direct, evaluate and develop business unit leadership and team members. Provide effective and efficient solutions to complex business problems. Prepare and present formal presentations, documents, updates, etc. to executive leadership.
