About The Position

Unity House of Troy is seeking an experienced Program Director to lead our Community Housing Assistance Program (CHAP) and Young Adult/MICA Case Management Program. These programs serve high-risk individuals with histories of homelessness, mental illness, and co-occurring disorders, providing client-centered, harm reduction services that support housing stability and recovery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience working with at-risk populations and individuals with mental illness or co-occurring disorders.
• Supervisory and management experience required.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHR/data systems.
• Valid NYS driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of HUD/PSH policies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee Permanent Supportive Housing and Young Adult/MICA programs.
• Supervise and mentor program staff, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
• Implement and monitor program policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with HUD PSH regulations and funding requirements.
• Monitor program performance, quality assurance, and client outcomes.
• Prepare reports, maintain documentation, and manage program budgets.
• Utilize data systems such as HMIS, AWARDS, or other EHR platforms.
• Serve as liaison between staff, participants, funders, and leadership.
