About The Position
The Program Director 2 oversees the operation of a program or a center. Is responsible for budget preparation and management as well as performance of the employees in the program or center. The School of Dentistry is seeking an experienced clinician-educator and academic leader to serve as Program Director for the graduate endodontics program. This role provides administrative and academic leadership, ensures CODA compliance, oversees curriculum development, resident recruitment, and progress monitoring, and includes teaching and supervision in clinical, didactic, and research settings. The ideal candidate is an innovative leader who mentors students and promotes excellence in education and research.Performs other duties as needed.
Requirements
- Doctorate Degree required
- Minimum four years of related experience required
- Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others

- D.D.S./D.M.D. or foreign equivalent required
- be eligible for licensure in the State of California
- have completed a CODA-accredited advanced education program in endodontics required
- Board-certified by the American Board of Endodontics required

- experience in intramural practice
