About The Position

The Program Data Coordinator supports Care Ring's data and reporting needs across clinical quality improvement, program evaluation, and organizational performance. Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, this position is responsible for building and maintaining reports, preparing data for leadership and board presentations, and supporting evaluation requirements for funders and external stakeholders. This is a growth-oriented role ideal for an early-career professional with interest in healthcare data, public health, and quality improvement. The Program Data Coordinator will develop skills in Epic reporting, clinical quality metrics, and program evaluation while contributing meaningfully to Care Ring's mission of providing accessible, high-quality healthcare to our community.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience working with data, reporting, or analysis
  • Experience with public health data, community health, or healthcare settings
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to communicate data findings clearly to non-technical audiences
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn new systems and skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to learn new software and reporting tools quickly

Responsibilities

  • Data Reporting & Analysis (25%)
  • Build, run, and maintain reports using Epic and other data systems
  • Prepare regular reports on clinical quality metrics for quality improvement initiatives
  • Generate dashboards and data summaries for middle management and leadership review
  • Support data needs for board presentations and organizational performance tracking
  • Identify trends and patterns in data and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all reporting functions
  • Program Evaluation & Funder Reporting (25%)
  • Prepare evaluation reports for funders and grant-funded programs
  • Track and report on program outcomes and key performance indicators
  • Support data collection and analysis for access to care programs
  • Assist with grant applications by providing relevant data and metrics
  • Maintain organized systems for tracking reporting deadlines and deliverables
  • Quality Improvement Support (25%)
  • Support clinical quality improvement initiatives with timely and accurate data
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for performance improvement through data analysis
  • Participate in quality improvement meetings and contribute data-informed insights
  • Help monitor progress toward quality benchmarks and organizational goals
  • Collaboration & Communication (15%)
  • Work closely with clinical and programmatic staff to understand data needs
  • Translate complex data into accessible formats for diverse audiences
  • Respond to ad hoc data requests from leadership and program staff
  • Collaborate with team members to improve data collection processes
  • Present data findings to internal teams as needed
  • Data Management (10%)
  • Maintain documentation of report specifications and data definitions
  • Support data cleaning and validation processes
  • Assist with maintaining data systems and troubleshooting issues
