About The Position

The Community Outreach & Engagement (COE) Program is looking for a Program Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in advancing COE’s goals of improving health and well-being in communities, promoting community involvement in clinical trials, and collaborating with community partners. You’ll coordinate outreach activities, manage program operations, and support staff to ensure high-quality delivery of projects that meet Cancer Center Support Grant (CCSG) requirements. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • One year of experience in program administration or academic, instructional, or counseling activities.
  • Or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in event and program planning, coordination, and project management.
  • Familiarity with community engagement principles, health equity initiatives, and grant compliance.
  • Knowledge of Redcap database.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and virtual collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate day-to-day operations of the COE program, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and CCSG objectives.
  • Organize and manage community outreach events, educational programs, and engagement activities, including maintaining program timelines and deliverables.
  • Track and report program metrics to demonstrate impact and compliance with CCSG requirements.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, facilitating effective communication, including developing and distributing program communications, newsletters, event announcements and outreach materials.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support to program staff, including onboarding and training, preparing progress reports, assisting with grants, and collaborating with COE leaders on budgets and resource allocation.
