About The Position

The Program Coordinator oversees and supports the implementation of Adult Drug Court services in collaboration with the Project/Program Director. This position provides day-to-day supervision of direct service staff, including the Drug Court Case Manager and Recovery Coach Mentor, and ensures high-quality, trauma-informed, recovery-oriented services for Drug Court participants. The Program Coordinator integrates case management and care coordination into the Drug Court model, oversees recovery support programming, supports the Recovery Coach Academy, and ensures compliance with SAMHSA grant requirements, including data collection and reporting. This role plays a key leadership function in advancing evidence-based practices, promoting equity and lived-experience inclusion, and supporting the multidisciplinary Drug Court team.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, behavioral health, criminal justice, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in case management, recovery services, Drug Court, or behavioral health programming.
Supervisory experience strongly preferred.
Knowledge of Drug Court models and multidisciplinary team approaches.
Knowledge of Trauma-informed care and recovery-oriented systems of care.
Knowledge of Case management and care coordination best practices.
Knowledge of Data collection, reporting, and grant compliance (SAMHSA experience preferred).
Knowledge of Community resources and service systems.
Ability to Supervise, mentor, and support direct service staff.
Ability to Communicate effectively orally, electronically, and in writing.
Ability to Manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and responsibilities.
Ability to Exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality.
Ability to Coordinate staff assignments, caseloads, and participant services.
Ability to Monitor daily program operations and troubleshoot service delivery challenges.
Ability to Ensure adequate staff scheduling and coverage for program activities

Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and perform administrative tasks.
Ability to travel within Mariposa County, including North County areas.
Must pass fingerprinting and background clearance.
Must possess reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance.

Responsibilities

Coordinate daily operations of Adult Drug Court programming in partnership with the Project Director.
Integrate case management and care coordination services into the Drug Court model across all participant phases.
Ensure consistent service delivery for participants in the community, detention center, residential treatment programs, and North County locations.
Support alignment with National Association of Drug Court Professionals (NADCP) Drug Court Standards.
Provide direct supervision, guidance, and support to the Case Manager and Recovery Coach Mentor.
Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing supervision of Recovery Coaches and Program Aides.
Promote a supportive, trauma-informed, recovery-oriented work environment.
Encourage staff participation in diversity, equity, and inclusion of practices and trainings.
Serve as the acting program lead in the absence of the Program Director, ensuring continuity of services and daily operations.
Develop and maintain daily operational workflows and service protocols.
Provide ongoing guidance to direct service staff to ensure consistent and high-quality service delivery.
Monitor staff workload and report operational needs to the Program Director.
Escalate urgent operational issues to the Program Director or Executive Leadership when necessary.
Facilitate internal program team meetings and provide operational updates to the Program Director.
Collaborate with the Recovery Coach to implement the Recovery Coach Academy bi-annually.
Support and oversee sober social activities and recovery-oriented events designed to build recovery capital.
Ensure peer roles are structured, supported, and aligned with grant and program goals.
Oversee timely and accurate collection, entry, and reporting of participant data, including GPRA data.
Prepare and submit bi-annual, annual, and final progress reports to SAMHSA.
Monitor grant deliverables, performance outcomes, and documentation requirements.
Ensure compliance with confidentiality, ethical standards, and grant regulations.
May participate in Drug Court team meetings and multidisciplinary coordination efforts.
Maintain strong working relationships with courts, treatment providers, community partners, and stakeholders.
Support referrals, service coordination, and participant advocacy as needed.
Maintain accurate documentation, service logs, and program records.
Assist with scheduling, reporting, and administrative functions related to program operations.
Attend staff meetings, trainings, and required grant or program meetings.
Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the position
Provide direct service coverage when staffing shortages or emergencies occur
Support crisis response and participant needs in coordination with the Program Director.
