POSITION PURPOSE Th e Coordinator of School Partnerships is responsible for managing and enhancing the relationships with school partners to support the School to Work (STW) Mentoring Program. This role includes providing training and resources to the STW team regarding all aspects of school partnerships, assisting with removing roadblocks, and integrating new school partners into the program. Additionally, the Coordinator will assist in developing action plans to address and correct any issues with school partnerships and will help lead a team of 12 Program Specialists. Key Relationships: The Coordinator of School Partnerships will directly report to the Senior Director of Program Location: This position is based in Miami, Florida, at BBBS of Miami’s headquarters at 550 NW 42nd Avenue Miami, FL 33126 with 15% of total work time traveling. Compensation: The Coordinator of School Partnerships position is an non-exempt full-time position. This position is supervised by COO. The salary for this position is between 40-55k depending on experience. BBBS of Miami positions involve regular computer use plus some minimal lifting. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education , Social Work, Communications, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in partnership management, preferably in educational or nonprofit settings.
  • Proven ability to develop and manage school partnerships.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills .
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience providing training and support to teams.
  • Experience leading and managing a team of 12 or more.
  • Commitment to the mission and values of BBBSM.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • School Partnership Management: Identify and engage potential school partners to host student visits.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing school partners.
  • Develop and deliver presentations to potential school partners to illustrate the benefits of participation in the STW program.
  • Assist in integrating new school partners into the program, ensuring smooth transitions and effective collaboration.
  • Team Leadership: Manage, support, and mentor a team of 12 Program Specialists.
  • Provide guidance and professional development opportunities for team members.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and individual check-ins to ensure consistency and quality across all STW sites.
  • Evaluate team performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Support and Training: Provide training and resources to the STW team on managing school partnerships.
  • Act as a resource for the STW team, assisting with any challenges or roadblocks related to school partnerships.
  • Develop and implement training sessions and workshops to improve partnership management skills within the STW team.
  • Evaluation and Action Planning: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of school partnerships.
  • Collect and analyze data to track partnership outcomes and impacts.
  • Assist in developing action plans to address and correct any issues with school partnerships.
