About The Position

Under the direction of the Vice Chair of Education, Radiology Education Program Manager, Director of Radiology Education and Research, and Program Directors of CHOP Radiology’s Clinical Fellowship, Residency and Observership programs - the Program Coordinator of the Clinical Fellowship, Rotating Trainee, and Observership programs coordinates the day-to-day operations of the programs in partnership with a second Program Coordinator to serve as an important liaison and facilitator between the learners, faculty, various offices (Graduate Medical Education, Global Pediatric Education, etc.) and other staff members. The coordinator will need to have leadership and personnel management skills and is expected to develop knowledge of the ACGME and Program Requirements, including policies and procedures. The coordinator will assist the program manager and directors in meeting accreditation requirements, educational programming, and support of clinical fellows, rotating trainees, and clinical observers. The coordinator must be able to meet deadlines, work on several projects at once, have attention to detail, ensure program goals and objectives are met on-time, and work closely with program leadership to identify opportunities for program growth and improvement. Requires independent judgement and excellent coordination and organizational skills.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED - Required
  • At least one (1) year of administration, coordination or program experience - Required
  • Intermediate proficiency with office software (Microsoft Office) including word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • At least one (1) year of leadership, management, or supervisory experience - Preferred
  • At least one (1) year of experience in a healthcare related environment - Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations and work product
  • Monitor and coordinate program operations, resources and projects including develop project plans and facilitate the resolution of issues.
  • Enact policies and procedures, and maintain related documentation and databases.
  • Collaborate across teams and serve as the primary liaison for the program.
  • Oversee and participate in team, project and program meetings.
  • Manage and maintain operating budget, supplies and resources.
  • Maintain program metrics and related tools and regularly reports results.
  • Monitor and support related finance, accounting and billing functions.
  • Coordinate information collection, compilation and dissemination as required.
  • Provide advanced administrative support as needed.
  • Perform other duties and projects as required.
