About The Position

The Program Coordinator II works collaboratively with leadership and stakeholders to plan, develop, implement and evaluate the Captains Leadership Course by assisting with goal setting, strategic planning, and program development. The position will support fiscal management, including budgeting and purchasing, and help identify funding opportunities. The position will develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, prepares program reports, and ensures thorough documentation. Additionally, the role provides program support by coordinating logistics for events and workshops, serving as a resource to staff, managing administrative tasks, and organizing program data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Four years of related experience.
  • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
  • Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates logistics for workshops and events including scheduling, venue arrangements, setup, and communications.
  • Serves as a resource for staff, assisting in program and administrative task coordination.
  • Maintains information management schema to organize and store data relevant to program initiatives.
  • Assists in establishing short- and long-term goals and strategic planning.
  • Collaborates with others to create new and expanded programs.
  • Plans, implements, and evaluates programs.
  • Assists in establishing goals, objectives, policies and procedures.
  • Supports fiscal and purchasing activities.
  • Assists in preparation and monitoring of budgets for programs and events.
  • Assists in identifying funding opportunities.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with stakeholders.
  • Prepares reports on program activities.
