Within the Substance Use Prevention team at Jackson County Public Health, the Program Coordinator II advances the team’s community focused collective impact mission by serving as the primary organizer of the Overdose Fatality Review board. The position develops and manages communication processes; schedules and facilitates meetings; and prepares agendas, slide decks, documentation, and follow-up notes. The Program Coordinator II tracks action items and deadlines, maintains shared file systems, and serves as a primary point of contact for logistical questions. The role also supports planning and execution of community events, ensuring meaningful outreach to community members, people with lived experience, and partner organizations.
