The position processes electronic birth and death records using the NCDAVE system, researches discrepancies, and works directly with local partners and customers to clarify registration requirements and resolve issues. It conducts outreach to address outstanding and unregistered records, maintains registration trackers to support operational visibility, and assists in linking birth and death records to maintain data consistency. The Coordinator also supports data integrity by identifying duplicate records and managing the abandonment process. This role contributes to efficient workflow and reliable statewide vital records operations within established policies and procedures.
