About The Position

The Program Coordinator for University Programs is a key role designed to co-advise and support the University Programs (UP) team. The coordinator will develop expertise in critical areas such as program management, student advising, budgeting, contract negotiation, and assessment. This position plays a vital part in the overall operations of Student Involvement and Leadership and is supervised by the Associate Director for Programming. Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Requirements

  • The formal education equivalent of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education
  • Progressive experience in event planning with a track record of increasing responsibility and leadership
  • Experience advising undergraduate students in event planning or programming

Nice To Haves

  • Masters degree in higher education, counseling, or similar field from an accredited institution of higher education
