About The Position

Under the direction of the Chief Regional Officer & Executive Director, the Program Community Engagement Manager is responsible for the implementation, coordination, and management of Junior Achievement (JA) programs in the district & schools throughout Orange County. This position focuses on program delivery, volunteer recruitment, engagement and training, school district engagement, data tracking, and impact measurement to ensure the success and growth of JA programs in the region. The Program Community Engagement Manager serves as a key liaison between schools, educators, volunteers, and corporate/community partners, ensuring high-quality program experiences that align with JA’s mission and goals.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in education, nonprofit program management, or volunteer coordination.
  • Proven ability to build and manage relationships with school districts, educators, and volunteers.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, including experience with volunteer training.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (BCRM /Microsoft Dynamics preferred) and program data tracking and reporting.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for Junior Achievement’s mission and commitment to youth education, financial literacy, and career readiness.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the implementation and delivery of JA programs in the Orange County schools, ensuring alignment with educational objectives, organizational priorities, & meeting set deliverables.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for school district and educator relationships in Orange County, supporting program engagement and expansion.
  • Collaborate with the regional team to recruit, train, and assign volunteers, ensuring a strong and diverse volunteer base.
  • Attend community networking events to foster community engagement in collaboration with the regional team.
  • Facilitate communication between schools, volunteers, and partners to ensure seamless program coordination.
  • Oversee scheduling, logistics, and distribution of materials to support successful JA program delivery.
  • Track & analyze program participation, volunteer engagement, & impact metrics using BCRM/other tools.
  • Administer evaluations, surveys, and feedback collection to measure program effectiveness and support continuous improvement.
  • Support grant-related program reporting by ensuring compliance with funder requirements and accurate documentation of impact.
  • Assist in planning and executing student-focused special events, competitions, and initiatives.
  • Represent Junior Achievement at school meetings, community events, and partner engagements, fostering strong relationships.
  • Work collaboratively with the regional team to meet shared program goals.
  • Perform other duties and relationship assignments as assigned.
