About The Position

Forvia Hella is looking for a Program Buyer to manage purchasing activities for assigned programs, joining a growing team within the electronic controls group.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, engineering or related field
2+ years of relevant experience conducting purchasing activities
General computer and software skills (Excel, Word, Power Point)
Open to traveling up to 5-10 supplier per year.
Excellent communication skills.

Nice To Haves

SAP and Ariba Purchasing module experience is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Negotiate supplier frame contracts, define sourcing concept and realize sourcing activities incl. but not limited to sending RfQs, negotiating and nominating suppliers for tools and components within the material group (new projects, lifetime extensions, change management, etc.)
Analyze the suppliers in order to identify opportunities for improvement and derive corresponding qualification measures, involving internal organizational units, in order to optimize the process chain between the supplier and Forvia Hella.
Own and analyze all company projections and supplier bandwidth to achieve production goals
Process company PO’s and successfully negotiate contract terms.
Achieve all required assigned project milestones
Forge meaningful relationships with internal and external stakeholders
