Overview: IMSA is committed to equity and excellence, including the active recruitment of students from all areas of Illinois. IMSA’s PROMISE Program addresses the unique challenges of culturally, linguistically, and economically diverse (CLED) students who have an interest in STEM education by providing academic enrichment programming at low to no cost. This grant-funded program is open to all students, especially Black or African American students, Latinx students, students who qualify for the national free or reduced-price meal program, as well as students from rural Illinois counties. Belleville Campus Currently, we are seeking a Program Assistant for the Spring 2026 PROMISE Program which serves non-IMSA students currently enrolled in the 7th grade . The program will run on 8 designated Saturday sessions. Program Dates and Details: Expected work hours are Saturdays 8:00AM - 1:00PM as well as additional dates/times (TBD) for program preparations Maximum number of participants: 7th Grade: 50 Session Dates: February 28–Parent Orientation March 7 March 14 March 21 March 28 April 11 April 18 April 25 Program Schedule: Three 50 minute classes each session consisting of approximately 17 students per class. Schedule: Class 1: 9:00 AM - 9:50 AM Class 2: 10:05 AM - 10:55 AM Class 3: 11:10 AM - 12:00 PM
